Data Storage Clarification

We do not permanently store users' manuscript content unless explicitly required for account-related services or feature improvement with user consent. Any temporary processing of content is performed securely and is not retained beyond what is necessary to complete the requested action.

Extension Permissions Explanation

We request only the Chrome extension permissions necessary to operate within Overleaf and deliver its features. Permissions are used solely to enable interaction with Overleaf pages and provide AI-assisted writing functions.

The extension does not use its permissions to access unrelated websites, track user behavior across the web, or collect personal browsing history. All permissions are strictly limited to the functional scope described in this Privacy Policy.
